Chicharron began in the lively markets of Lima, where our founder Alex first fell in love with the bold flavours of Peruvian street food. He started cooking at sixteen, and after 35 years in kitchens across the world, that spark never faded.

When Alex moved to Australia, he found a community that felt like home, except for the food he missed. So our family set out to share it.
